STRENGTH CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Cardio Strength Fusion: A kick butt class for those ready for more of a challenge than our extreme circuit class- we provide the fun, you provide the energy!
Core Sculpt: A class to focus on midsection madness. We emphasize all the "core" muscles (which is not just the abs!) and end with stretching on the foam roller.
Extreme Circuit: a kick butt class full of energy and fun. We meet 2x/week for a full body workout not to be missed. Class size is limited to 10 people.
Group Strength: A fun way to incorporate strength training into your fitness routine. We will work all the major muscle groups in the 55 minutes- includes warm up, and stretching at the end for a total body challenge. A great way to start or end your day! We meet twice/week for the session duration.
PILATES CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
(we provide the mats and all the props needed for classes- no need to carry anything!)
MAT:
Pilates Blast: This class incorporates balls, barrels and circles to totally shape your body from the inside out. Essential and intermediate levels welcome. Each week will be a different workout.
REFORMER: (Class size is limited to 5).
Beginner Equipment: For those new to pilates or need a refresher. The principles of pilates will be emphasized while learning the exercises on the reformer. Benefit of the reformer vs mat exercises? The spring tension on the reformer allows for often a deeper connection of the core muscles, and feedback for a better mind/body connection. Mat experience helpful but not necessary. (This class not held during our 4 week session- watch for it to return in the fall)
Essential Reformer: (level 2/3) For those with a minimum 6 weeks experience of Reformer, a progressive class working towards the full essential repertoire.
Intermediate Reformer: (level 4): Ready for more challenge? Our instructor will take you through a dynamic, full-body workout that focuses on improving flexibility and core strength, building upon the foundation you've developed at the essential level.
PILATES CIRCUIT: Class size is limited to 5.
Essential Reformer/Chair Circuit Classes: (level 1/2): The essential level is appropriate for students who have taken essential reformer or have taken essential reformer or have taken private sessions to learn the basic repertoire and equipment. We'll alternate between exercises on the Reformer, Stability Chair, & Arc Barrel.
Intermediate Reformer/Chair Circuit Classes: (level 3/4):Building upon the foundation you've built at the essential level, the exercises will further challenge you. We'll alternate between exercises on the Mat, Reformer, & Stability Chair. Consult the instructor to choose which level is best for you - Intermediate level reformer experience is necessary.
PRIVATE TRAINING:
Private sessions are also available for both pilates and strength training, and a great compliment to group training. We can customize a program for you to help you meet your goals, or work with you to polish your form for the group classes. Costs vary from $55 to $70 depending upon how many sessions you purchase.
